Mrs Le Pen warns: France is becoming a totalitarian state, our judges are politicised

Marine Le Pen reacted to the ordering of a psychiatric evaluation by the French legal system saying it is becoming a “totalitarian system”. This is her translated statement to broadcaster CNEWS on the treatment she’s received, reports The Voice of Europe.

 

“You know the judicial floor depend on the political powers and they receive orders from them. The political powers gave the order to prosecute me because I denounced Daesh’s atrocities by tweets in 2015.”

“The judges didn’t find any articles to prosecute me, instead they sought an article about sexual infractions to protect minors from sexual crimes! It’s a true scandal (…) That’s why I fell off my chair when I received an ordinance for me to undergo psychiatric evaluation.”
