Many take inspiration from their loved ones, their favourite places or their passions – but one mum-to-be was left baffled when her husband suggested naming it after an unexpected family member.
The couple came up with a list of possible names and the woman discovered her other half wanted something slightly unusual.
She vetoed his suggestions of Cyrus, Aethelstan and Lancelot, but there was one name he was determined to keep on their shortlist – and it’s their cat’s name.
