Janša meets Australian candidate for OECD sec-gen

Prime Minister Janez Janša received in Ljubljana, who until recently served as Australia’s finance minister and is bidding to be the next secretary general of the OECD.

They discussed the organisation’s role and mission in the global situation and exchanged experience in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. They both agreed on the OECD’s role as a advocate and defender of democracy and the principles of market economy.
