Hungarian court sentenced a former ISIS fighter to life in prison

At the beginning of this month, the Budapest Municipal Court sentenced a former Islamist soldier of the terrorist organization ISIS, Hassan F., to life in prison, Hungary Today reports.

The court said that he was complicit in at least two killings in Syria in 2015. At least one of the killings involved beheading. He was sentenced for crimes against humanity and murder, and in the past, he has already been sentenced for people smuggling and other crimes.

Hassan F. was arrested in 2018 in Budapest´s Liszt Ferenc International Airport with forged documents.
