“Ilirska Bistrica did not receive anything from the government of LMŠ, but it seems that they also intend to take what others have given us. Maybe it would not be good for Ilirska Bistrica to win. Especially for me, who will end up in a black hole,” warned the mayor of Ilirska Bistrica Emil Rojc, who, judging by what was written, the president of LMŠ Ilirska Bistrica Vlado Hrvatin predicts that he will end up buried six feet under.

“LMŠ has a promise in its election programme that they will replace all those who are not theirs after the elections,” wrote the mayor of Ilirska Bistrica Emil Rojc, adding that the will of the people is already known. He also wrote that the local head of the Ilirska Bistrica, Vlado Hrvatin, added that the mayor would personally end six feet under – that he would be presumed dead, and that the doors to Ilirska Bistrica would be closed, which means that they would presumably stop projects. “Ilirska Bistrica did not receive anything from the government of LMŠ, but it seems that they also intend to take what others have given us. Maybe it would not be good for Ilirska Bistrica to win. Especially for me, who will end up in a black hole,” the mayor warned.

So far, Emil Rojc has had problems mainly with the SD party, which he once belonged to, until he was expelled from it by a decision of the Social Democrats (SD) supervisory board. The official reason was disrespectful and insulting communication with a journalist from Primorske novice, but in reality, they were offended for several reasons. Also, because he has repeatedly emphasised that the Social Democrats’ policy towards migrants is wrong, as well as the policy pursued by President Tanja Fajon towards the government of Janez Janša. He was honest that his municipality received much more money from the state than from any government so far and admitted that he is successfully cooperating with the current government. Moreover, Emil Rojc did not support constructive vote of no confidence towards the government. After Rojc’s expulsion, 16 members of SD Ilirska Bistrica left the party, leaving the SD council group. Well, now everything shows that the stubborn mayor of Ilirska Bistrica is also offending those in other KUL opposition parties and that they would like to get rid of him in all possible senses.
