In the last 24 hours, police officers have dealt with 24 illegal migrants in the area of the Koper Police Administration: four citizens of Bangladesh in Črnotiče, a citizen of Pakistan in Ilirska Bistrica, three citizens of Nepal in Kastelec, and an Algerian citizen in Praproče.
At 5 o’clock, the police noticed a caravan car with Croatian registration, they drove behind it and stopped it in Markovščina. The 46-year-old driver, a Croatian citizen, was taken into custody for transporting five Iraqi citizens who had come to Slovenia illegally. Proceedings are still ongoing.
At the same time, police officers at the Hrvoje crossing barriers noticed a vehicle with Hungarian registration plates. He did not stop at the stop signs (repeated several times), but drove on. A stinger was set up near Mostičje, which he drove over, then the Mercedes G car stopped and the people from the vehicle fled. Police arrested ten Pakistani nationals, the driver fled.
