Severe conflict among migrants in northern Bosnia

0

Yesterday, in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, there was a serious conflict between two groups of migrants, reports the portal uskinfo.ba.

The conflict among migrants took place in Međeđa near Kozarska Dubica on the Bosnian-Croatian border. A few migrants from the first group fled by boat across the Sava River to Croatia, and the rest of the group, which numbered around forty people, scattered. Another group of migrants, numbering around fifty people, was apprehended by the police. At least six migrants were injured in the conflict, and the arrested migrants come from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

A few hours after the clash, police officers from Kozarska Dubica and Bosanska Gradiška combed the area and discovered another group of migrants in the Orahovo-Međeđ area, numbering around a hundred people. The arrested migrants will be moved to migrant centres in Bihać and Sarajevo.
