Kurdish Yezidi families are denouncing threats by supporters of extremist Islamic State in refugee camps in Greece, Protothema reports.

“If the Afghans learn that I am Yezidi they will burn me alive. They do not see us as people,” says Kairy Zambri, staring uncomfortably at the caravan window where he lives.

Since last December he has been staying at the Malakasa refugee camp with his wife Zahir and his three daughters. There are hundreds of migrants and refugees from Afghanistan and Syria living in the camp.
