Last night, police officers in Bločice in the Inner Carniola stopped a Renault espace vehicle with Austrian registration plates. In the proceedings, it was established that the Macedonian driver and the Bosnian passenger were transporting 7 foreigners in the vehicle (citizens of Bangladesh) who had illegally crossed the state border. Citizens of Macedonia and BiH living in Austria have been deprived of their liberty, and the procedures and activities of police officers in connection with foreigners are still ongoing.
Three foreigners, namely two citizens of Afghanistan and one citizen of Pakistan, were arrested in the area of Maribor on August 14th, 2021 at around 9:50 am during an unauthorised crossing of the state border. All three foreigners applied for international protection and were housed in an asylum home.
In the last 48 hours, while performing the tasks of guarding the state border in the area of Ljubljana and Bločice, the police tracked down and arrested 16 foreigners (citizens of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Morocco) who had illegally crossed the state border. The proceedings of the police officers with the foreigners have not yet been completed.
