In the last twenty-four hours, police officers in the area of the Koper Police Department have dealt with a total of 112 illegal migrants.
As we reported yesterday, a large group of illegal migrants was arrested in the Kozina area yesterday morning. A total of 46 people were arrested, including 4 Afghan nationals, 16 Somali nationals, 22 Pakistani nationals and 4 Eritrean nationals. All will be returned to the Croatian security authorities.
At Kozina, police arrested two more Somali citizens and four Afghan citizens who had applied for asylum and were placed in an asylum home in Ljubljana.
Koper police officers arrested five Turkish citizens near Mlin, who will be returned to the Croatian security authorities today.
Kozin police officers arrested seven Pakistani nationals and three Afghan nationals who had applied for asylum in the Kozina industrial zone in the afternoon;
Five citizens of Pakistan were arrested near Praproče and will be returned to the Croatian security authorities today.
In the morning, police officers at Kozina arrested another 40 illegal immigrants, whose nationalities are still being determined by the police. Procedures are ongoing.
