Last night, at 23.00, police officers at the Gruškovje International Border Crossing, discovered five hidden foreigners in a trailer with Bosnia and Herzegovina license plate. The trailer was driven a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the foreigners were 4 citizens of Morocco and a citizen of Libya, who wanted to enter out country illegally.
They were all returned back to Croatia and handed over to the Croatian security authorities.
Attempt to evade border control
A truck driver with Serbian licence plates drove to the Obrežje border crossing trying to enter Slovenia. Police officers conducted a border control and search of the truck. They found three Afghan citizens who hidden with cargo tried to evade the border control.
After the procedure was completed, the foreigners were handed over to the Croatian security authorities.
Illegal migrations in Koper
Processed illegal migrants in the area of Koper Police Department in the last 24 hours: Polic officers from Ilirska Bistrica dealt with two Algerian citizens, and in the morning police officers from Kozin dealt with three Iranian citizens and one Afghan citizen at Obrovo.
The Italian security authorities have returned a Moroccan citizen and an Egyptian citizen.
