Germany: We have to help all the migrants in the Greek camps

Although Germany has been taking in children from the migrant camps on the Greek islands in recent weeks in order to relieve overcrowding, the country’s Development Minister, Gerd Müller, thinks they need to help all of the migrants there.

Additionally, Thuringia’s Green Party wants to start bringing them to Germany.

Müller visited the camp on the island of Moria and says he was shocked by the cramped conditions there.

The camp, which was built to hold 3,000, is currently hosting approximately 20,000 migrants.

Claiming that conditions in the migrant camps in Africa are better than what he saw in Greece, “perhaps the worst conditions are right in the middle of Europe,” he claimed, according to a report by Der Spiegel.
