Four off-duty police officers were attacked by a group of ten to fifteen people of party Turkish origin last Saturday in Hamm, Westphalia.
The incident began after they were approached by a 19-year-old man who immediately recognized one of the officers from a past encounter.
After the four off-duty policemen rejected the young man’s advances he disappeared.
But shortly thereafter, the man returned with ten to fifteen others and attacked the police, according to Dortmund prosecutor Jörg Schulte-Göbel, Bild reports.
That’s when the attack ensued.
