France: Muslim migrant with eight previous convictions violently assaults photojournalist

“Of Algerian nationality, the man suspected of having violently beaten the photographer, Anas Saïd Khebbeb, also aged 21, has been in pre-trial detention since Wednesday, after being indicted for “attempted aggravated murder.” Eight times convicted, he was in an irregular situation on French territory.”

What possible benefit has Anas Saïd Khebbeb brought to France? Why is it incumbent upon France, the rest of Europe, and the U.S. and Canada to bear the burdens of the world’s Anas Saïd Khebbebs? Why can’t France take elementary measures to protect itself without being excoriated as “Islamophobic”?

The second man arrested after the assault on our photographer Christian Lantenois was released under judicial supervision. He was indicted for “participation in a group with a view to preparing acts of violence or degradation.” The “non-assistance to a person at risk” charge was not retained.

Presented this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Reims courthouse as part of the investigation that was opened after the violent assault of our photographer Christian Lantenois in the Croix-Rouge district on Saturday, February 27, Abasse Dianka, 21, came out three hours later, free under judicial supervision after being indicted.

The day before, knowing that he was wanted, he was taken prisoner at the police station, where he was taken into custody for “not assisting a person in danger” and “participating in an armed group with a view to preparing violence.
