A busy mum has started a debate between parents after asking whether it would be acceptable to mow the lawn at 8am.
The woman explained that when she gets home from work at 2.30pm, the sun is beating down on her garden so she would have to wait until the grass is in the shade after 6pm to mow it – but by then, she’s “knackered.”
She also argued that at that time of the morning a number of delivery drivers and builders often “make a racket”, compared to her “very quiet electric mower.”
She took to Mumsnet to ask whether it would be acceptable to mow the lawn first thing in the morning when it’s not too hot, and she’s not too tired – but users were divided.
