The REAL reason why Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth married after ten years together

From getting older to letting ‘Miley be Miley’ have all played their part in them tying the knot.

From the early days of their relationship, when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were still teenagers, there was a sense that they were going to be forever.

So, why did it take more than a decade, which included a broken engagement, for the pair to finally tie the knot and why did they decide that now is the right time?

A source has told People that a lot of the reasoning was down to them ‘both maturing’ and deciding that they wanted to get married and this drove the somewhat impromptu nature of the ‘secret’ ceremony.

Of course, aging is not the only factor and everything from Liam not stressing over ‘Miley being Miley’ and the destruction of their dream Malibu home, in the Californian wildfires, all had their bearing.

The pair met in 2009, on the set of The Last Song, a romantic drama by Nicholas Sparks and sparks certainly flew as the teen couple hit it off from the start.
