The iconic British band will be honoured with a collection of stamps that commemorate their artwork and live shows
Move over Queen Elizabeth, there’s a new type of royalty that is heading for the Royal Mail stamps.
Legendary rock stars Queen appear to be in Bohemian Rhapsodies after being immortalised in a set of 13 stamps.
Eight of the band’s albums and five of the band in action make up the £16 collection, on sale from July 6 .
Guitarist Brian May, 72, said: “Sometimes it’s strange to wake up and realise… we have become a national institution.”
