Dolly Parton reckons 9 To 5 has hit the West End at just the right time due to #MeToo

Dolly Parton thinks the rise of Me Too movement made it the perfect time for 9 To 5 The Musical to transfer to the UK.

The country legend, 73, was joined by pop star Kylie Minogye, 50, plus Bruno Tonioli, 63, and Gloria Hunniford, 78, at the show’s Savoy Hotel gala performance.

Speaking at the event, she said: “I think it is as relevant now as it was before.

“In a way, with the new Me Too movement, I think this is a really good time for it, and that’s what really inspired them to actually come here to the West End to do it.
