David Hedison dead: James Bond and The Fly actor dies age 92

Actor David Hedison, best known for starring in Live and Let Die, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and License to Kill has died.

Actor David Hedison, who starred in two James Bond films, has died at the age of 92.

He was best known for playing Bond’s CIA ally Felix Lieter in 1973’s Live and Let Die, Sir Roger Moore’s first outing as 007. 

Hedison then returned to the role 16 years later, this time alongside Timothy Dalton in 1989’s Licence to Kill.

Today it was reported that Hedison died on July 18 in Los Angeles with his daughters by his side.
