Actor John Hannah’s horror as teen son sneaks out at night to see total stranger

Discovering that your child has put themself in danger is a gut-wrenching feeling for any parent. And it is a scenario that actor John Hannah has had to live through twice.

His agony came after his 15-year-old twins crept out of the house in the early hours, each on a different occasion. 

Thankfully for the Four Weddings and a Funeral star, his son Gabriel and daughter Astrid returned home safely, but John knows it could easily have been a different story.

John, 56, who is married to actress Joanna Roth, 54, says: “Fortunately, there haven’t been any bad consequences from it but…

“My daughter started it. She sneaked out at two in the morning to meet her friend, her boyfriend, and to wander around the bloody bus stop and the shops.
