Farage: Denial of leftist aggression won’t bring America together

Joe Biden talks about the unity of the right and left, yet he began his term with impeaching his predecessor and demonising Trump voters, UK politician Nigel Farage said in a video, pointing out that the US President is in complete denial about BLM, Antifa and other radical far-left groups.

“Joe Biden is completely in denial about Antifa,” Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party said, pointing out that the US president pleads for unity among political groups, yet he only focuses on the radical right.

“The main theme of his speech was unity, a divided America that now must unite around a new president,” Farage said, adding that if Joe Biden wants unity, then beginning his term with the impeachment of Donald Trump is not a very good start. He cited Lord Ashcroft’s polling, which shows that two thirds of Trump voters think the previous president has done nothing wrong. This implies that 50 million people will be enraged to see “their man being gone after in a very vindictive manner”.

Farage also pointed it out what Biden had particularly stressed, namely that the behaviour of right-wing “white supremacists” was unacceptable. “I agree with you, these are very, very bad people,” the politician said, noting that not all Trump supporters belong to radical groups. “I was waiting for the balance in the speech, I was waiting for the moment when Biden talked about the divide on the left, on the problems they caused over the last year, because I didn’t hear a single thing,” Farage continued.

“I’m not sure whether it’s possible, but if America is going to come together, it’s got to have an even-handed president, not one who condemns one group in society and refuses to face up to the facts that there’s a dangerous organisation called Antifa,” the politician concluded.
