Angelina Jolie is set to adopt an orphan baby from war-torn Syria as a “single mom” say friends. The American actress and estranged husband Brad Pitt had intended to rescue a refugee child together before announcing their split two years ago The Express reports.
But now the Maleficent star, 43, intends to go it alone – even though the couple are still battling over custody of the six children they already have.
A source close to Angelina confirmed: “She has always wanted to help an infant from that region and saw no reason why she shouldn’t start the adoption ball rolling by herself.
