A young mum has posted photos of the injuries she received as she tried to protect her infant daughter from tennis ball-sized hailstones, news.sky.com reports.
Fiona Simpson from Kingaroy, Queensland was in her car with her baby and grandmother, about 130 miles north-west of Brisbane when she drove into a storm.
The massive hailstones smashed through the car’s windows. Fearing for her child’s safety Ms Simpson put her body on the line.
