President Andrzej Duda remains Poland’s most trusted politician, with 68 per cent of respondents to a new survey saying they have confidence in him, reports Voice of Europe.
At the same time, 22 per cent of respondents said they did not trust Duda, who hails from the governing conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party. Poland’s second most-trusted politician is Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, with 57 per cent of those surveyed saying they have confidence in him, the CBOS poll found.
Meanwhile, opposition leader Grzegorz Schetyna, whose Civic Platform (PO) party lost parliamentary elections in late 2015, is the most distrusted politician in the country, according to the survey.
