We live in times where various conspiracy theories are becoming increasingly popular. These are not a historical anomaly (let’s recall the theories of a Jewish conspiracy for world domination from the first half of the 20th century, which are still alive today).
However, in the era of changes in mass communication, especially with the rise of new media, they have gained significant momentum. They can be related to various topics, from epidemics and mass migrations to multinational corporations and global capitalism as such. Their common point is that they are based on the belief in the existence of hidden global centres of power that control world events, which means they stand behind the actions of formal decision-makers. These centres of power, in pursuit of their selfish goals, threaten the freedom and well-being of people. Especially in circles of the so-called alternative right, these “globalists” are accused of aiming to destroy nation-states and the traditions of European peoples, and to create an amorphous mass of people without their own identity.
The existence of informal centres of power, including those that influence global events, cannot be denied, although the specific effects of their actions are usually difficult to prove. These effects are often problematic and even harmful. However, it would be very challenging to reasonably argue that we are dealing with some kind of global all-encompassing conspiratorial organisation with a clearly defined hierarchical structure, like the criminal organisation SPECTRE in the James Bond movies. George Soros, Bill Gates, or anyone else is not Ernst Stavro Blofeld (the leader of this fictional entity).
THE TRUE SOURCE OF RADICALISM AND DELUSION IS THE MAIN PROBLEM. NOWADAYS, IT IS LARGELY GENERATED BY A CONGLOMERATE OF NEW LEFT IDEOLOGIES. THESE IDEOLOGIES HAVE PERMEATED KEY SOCIAL SUBSYTEMS IN THE WEST, PARTICULARLY EDUCATION, MEDIA, AND POPULAR CULTURE. THROUGH THESE CHANNELS INDOCTRINATION OF PEOPLE TAKES PLACE, CAUSING THEM TO LOSE THE ABILITY FOR CRITICAL JUDGMENT AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE AWARENESS OF THE VALUE OF THEIR OWN SPIRITUAL HERITAGE.
It actually involves the alignment of different motives and interests, often an unintentional interplay of various factors. When discussing negative effects, it typically comes down to a combination of corruption, stupidity, and delusion.
A typical example of this is mass illegal migration and its consequences, particularly the threats to the security and stability of Western countries. These are not the result of an organised plan and centrally managed execution. Instead, there are those who have or anticipate concrete benefits from these migrations. Most obviously, this refers to criminal groups involved in human trafficking. There are also certain business circles that look forward to an influx of cheap labour. Then we have the naïve individuals who, in their well-meaning simplicity, blindly follow the political and media mainstream, advocating solidarity with the “poor” without realising that Europe simply cannot solve the problems of the entire world; accepting everyone who is “poor” would cause it to collapse. If it accepted all people from the third world who wish to come, it would itself become the third world. Finally, there is ideological delusion. This is based on the multicultural illusion that intercultural differences do not matter, and that culture does not affect how a society functions and thus its developmental (un)success. Consequently, it imagines that anyone from anywhere in the world can be seamlessly integrated into the European cultural environment. Furthermore, it promotes a kind of “white guilt”, the notion that Europeans or Westerners are responsible for all the world’s problems, past and present, and therefore have a duty to accept anyone who wishes to come.
We can say that this radicalism and delusion are the main sources of problems. Nowadays, they are largely generated by a conglomerate of new left ideologies. These ideologies have permeated key social subsystems in the West, particularly education, media, and popular culture. Through these channels, indoctrination of people occurs, causing them to lose the ability for critical judgment and, most importantly, the awareness of the value of their own spiritual heritage. Of course, there are many who exploit this ideological delusion, naivety, and misguidance to pursue their selfish goals at the expense of the common good.
