Presstitution And Media Mafia Machinations In Their Noblest Form: Vuković Is On Golob’s Payroll Again!

By: Sara Kovač / Nova24TV

Vesna Vuković, a journalist of the transitional left’s media murder web portal “Necenzurirano.si” (“Uncensored”), is soon moving to Robert Golob’s party. This switch to one of the left-wing parties shows once again how extremely the biased journalists and media outlets we have in Slovenia are and how they are just an extended arm of the transitional left. The presstitution – the collusion between journalists and politics – is, therefore, a phenomenon that is still very much alive.

The latest news that the journalist of the Uncensored web portal, whose source of funding is unknown, is moving into politics and to the party of Robert Golob, is not even all that surprising – in fact, it was to be expected. For three years, the web portal of the media tycoon Martin Odlazek has been carrying out contracted “media murders” in defiance of all journalistic standards, and now it is time for the ruling coalition to pay its bills. Namely, the Freedom Movement has employed Vuković, and she will be in charge of the party’s public relations and the promotion of the party ahead of the upcoming local and presidential elections.

Media mafia machinations
Let us remind you that the Uncensored web portal journalistic trio of Primož Cirman, Tomaž Modic and Vesna Vukovič had already faced accusations of tax evasion even before joining the Uncensored project, and that the state-owned company Gen-I, formerly under the leadership of the current Prime Minister, Robert Golob, even financed the private company of journalist Vuković with 103 thousand euros. We would also like to point out that the journalists of the Uncensored web portal have been seen on several occasions at the home of Prime Minister Golob. And now, they are taking corruption one step further, as Vuković will join Golob’s office, which could be a good topic for a new commission of inquiry in the National Assembly.

The brutal flourish of the Uncensored journalists is also evidenced by the fact that Tomaž Modic has been hired as an assistant to the National Assembly’s new Commission of Inquiry, which will be hunting down the political opponents of the current coalition under the leadership of Mojca Pašek Šetinc, another “independent” journalist who joined the Freedom Movement party (Gibanje Svoboda).

Here are some of the responses of Twitter users to the news that Vuković will soon be employed by the Freedom Movement party: “Thank you and good luck, Vesna! There we go, the boys said goodbye to Vesna,” a Nova24TV journalist Luka Perš commented on the article that the Uncensored web portal published as a farewell to Vuković. A Twitter user with the nickname “Libertarec” commented on the news by wondering, “For how many months after the elections will ‘journalists’ continue to crawl out of closets? Let’s speed this up a bit, to stabilise the situation.”

And another user wrote: “The real problem of this web portal lies elsewhere – namely, in other media outlets, especially the national media outlet Radio-Television Slovenia, which have used it for bypassing. They exported stories to it that they themselves did not want to publish, so that if things went wrong, they would not have to take responsibility for it or so that the ‘credibility of a serious media outlet’ would not have to suffer, if we can even talk about credibility when it comes to these people. And then there are the stories that they exported and then picked up again and summarised in their media outlets, citing the ‘reporting of the web portal.’ Thus, they were able to publish practically any bullshit without the downside risk. The idea is actually quite brilliant, if you are in the business of influence peddling. To make it all look even more ‘credible,’ the same national media outlet, RTV, built up the perpetrators of this media mafia machinations as ‘credible journalists’ through its shows, such as ‘Odmevi’ (‘Echoes’). Because if they were invited to the show in question, then they are surely not just some random journalists from the street. Brilliant, really.”
