Vice President Mike Pence is self-isolating away from the White House after his press secretary tested positive for coronavirus, Bloomberg reports.
Press Secretary Katie Miller tested positive on Friday. She is a primary spokesperson for the White House coronavirus task force, which Pence leads, and is regularly in close contact with the vice president.
The task force last met on Thursday.
The press secretary is also married to Stephen Miller, a member of the Trump administration.
Pence tested negative for the virus on Sunday and is staying home “out of an abundance of caution,” said Bloomberg’s sources.
