Two more people have died today in Slovenia from covid-19 disease, bringing the total number of deaths to nine, according to the STA. Today, one patient died at the Celje General Hospital and one at the Golnik Clinic, and two people died on Thursday.
Caregivers of the Šmarje pri Jelšah Senior Citizens Home died in the Celje Hospital on Thursday and today, and one person has died today at the Golnik Clinic. According to Ukom, these are seniors with associated diseases.
According to the Metlika Senior Citizens Home website, four of their residents died as a result of coronavirus treatment at the hospital. The four were allegedly from the Smarje pri Jelsah Home, and the 67-year-old, who had several associated diseases, died.
On Thursday, 70 new coronavirus infections were listed, with a total of 632 confirmed cases in Slovenia. By Thursday, 18,369 tests had been completed, 1075 tests on Thursday alone. The government announced that 90 people were hospitalized and 22 were in intensive care.
