Jared Leto has emerged from a silent phone-free retreat in the desert to find a “different world” as the coronavirus has become a pandemic.
Jared Leto has just left a silent retreat after living in the desert with no communication with the outside world – and no idea the coronavirus had become a pandemic.
The actor said he was “mind blown” to have emerged into a world of panic as the potentially deadly virus is spreading and the death toll rises.
Jared, 48, was unaware that so many people were self-isolating, and his fellow Oscar winner Tom Hanks has been diagnosed with the virus and released from hospital all in the time Jared was away.
He was on a 12-day “silent meditation” retreat, and he explained his shock upon returning to his usual life.
