Mum Kerri bought the bath bomb kit for ‘holiday fun’ but it quickly went downhill.
Spending an afternoon with your child and a make-your-own-bath-bomb kit during the school holidays sounds like harmless fun.
Kerri Sackville found out the hard way that it’s not always the case after being left facing a sight reminiscent of Shrek’s swamp a few hours later.
The Australian mum had been shopping in one of her favourite stores, Kmart, with her 11-year-old daughter and picked up a couple of pairs of leggings and some batteries.
The pair then stumbled across a unicorn bath bomb kit for around £8, suitable for children eight and over, and decided it would be ‘perfect holiday fun’, wrote Kerri on News.com.au .
