The patient went to hospital already convinced there was some kind of insect in his ear.
This is the stomach-churning moment a Vietnamese doctor removed an ant from a patient’s ear.
Footage, captured by the surgeon’s otoscope, shows the tiny insect crawling around the man’s ear canal, “searching for food.”
After a brief examination, the doctor found the ant next to the ear drum, looking for something to eat.
Dr Hoat decided to sort the problem immediately, and used a pair of tweezers to remove it.
