We still have time to open new capacities in epidemic hospitals to treat coronavirus patients, for now we have a safe amount of reserves, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated in a video published on his social media page after his meeting with the Operative Board.
The second wave of the coronavirus epidemic has kicked off in Hungary with a great force, we reviewed the current protection level, Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said in a video published on his social media page after meeting with the Operative Board.
The premier stressed that the hospital capacity is regularly reviewed to see if there are enough beds, equipment, ventilators and enough doctors and staff. According to Saturday’s information, these are all available.
“And while we have extra epidemic hospital capacity arranged, it is not yet necessary to open them. Presumably the number of infections will rise, and we will have to open them sometime, but for now we have a safe amount of reserves,” Mr Orban said.
