Trump supporters face ruthless showdown

By: V4 Agency

Tensions are still running high with Democratic Party supporters set to go after Trump voters to make life miserable for them. President-elect Joe Biden’s (D) inauguration is expected to take place in two days.

There are only two days left until the inauguration of Democrat Joe Biden, with preparations for the event well under way in Washington DC. According to reports, parts of the city around Capitol Hill are in lockdown and the army has been deployed there. Images show that troops are already in the city with military equipment and heavy vehicles – sometimes used to block streets – pre-stationed in the area.

Emitions are still running high, with Democratic Party supporters looking keen to settle scores with Trump voters and allies of the Republican president. Forbes, for example, has recently published an article listing actual officials’ names who the paper claims were ready to lie for Donald Trump.

Forbes suggests that these officials should be held accountable and they should not be offered jobs. In case companies employ them, Forbes will investigate and assume that these companies, just like the people they hire, are liars. The article mentions the names of former White House spokespersons Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer and Kayleigh McEnany, calling them “chronic liars.”

The persecution of Republicans has also kicked off at Harvard where a group of students demanded that the university revoke the degrees of Trump’s allies. In their petition they insisted that the institution rescind diplomas from all those who supported the riots on 6 January and questioned the outcome of last November’s presidential race. The document also states that a degree from Harvard is not a right, but a privilege.

The attacks targeting Republicans appear ongoing. A former NBC host has also criticised Republican congressmen and congresswomen, as well as Donald Trump. Katie Couric said: “the question is how are we going to really almost deprogram these people who have signed up for the cult of Trump.”

Actor Alec Baldwin shared one of his dreams with his Twitter followers:

Mr Baldwin had posted a few controversial posts before. In December, he was contemplating what should happen to Trump if he refused to concede. The actor suggested that Trump be arrested, pepper sprayed or handcuffed, or that someone should kneel on his neck, cutting off his oxygen. In another post, he wrote that Trump should be buried in a Nazi graveyard with a swastika on his grave.
