Slovenia has reiterated its support for the inclusion of nuclear energy in the EU’s taxonomy of sustainable energy sources after the EU Commission unveiled the proposal calling for nuclear and gas energy to be included in the taxonomy.
“Slovenia believes nuclear energy will be needed to maintain low-carbon energy production in the long run, not only during the transition period,” the Finance Ministry told the STA.
