Slovak Prime Minister Igor Matovic expressed his gratitude to Mateusz Morawiecki on social media after Poland had pledged to send 200 doctors to Slovakia to provide support for the country’s mass coronavirus testing project.

“200 Polish doctors and health workers will travel to Slovakia to help with the COVID tests. We are pleased to help our Slovak friends in the EU. One good turn deserves another,” Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on social media.

His statement came in response to an earlier message by Slovak PM Igor Matovic, who thanked Poland on behalf of his country and noted that the Polish medical staff will arrive as early as this weekend.

“Mateusz, I am very grateful on behalf of the people of Slovakia, who see Poland not only as a neighbour but as a good brother,” reads PM Matovic’s post.
