The situation is still not easy, even though a growing number of vaccines, including the Chinese one, are now used in Hungary to inoculate people, Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said in his new Facebook video.
“We’ll begin inocuating poeple with the Chinese vaccine on Wednesday and those managing our defence efforts could receive the jab next week,” Mr Orban said.
According to the Hungarian premier, the situation is not easy, because the good news – that we have more and more vaccines and the number of vaccinated citizens is rising – comes with a potential third wave threatening Hungary.
“People should have themselves vaccinated in the greatest possible numbers. The easing of restrictions is out of the question for now but, in terms of the elderly care homes where 80 per cent of residents have already received the jab, we will try to come up with some type of humanly acceptable solution,” PM Orban said.
