Norway: AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson before suspension

By UME

“We have to stop vaccinating with AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson, they have rare but serious side effects.” This is the recommendation of the expert committee set up by the Norwegian government to decide on the two viral vector sera.

“We do not recommend the use of adenoviral vaccines in the national vaccination program,” said the head of the committee, Lars Vorland, when presenting the report to Minister of Health Bent Hoie. “Serious side effects” seen in a small percentage of people who received the vaccines “are the cause” of the warning. Hoie has not yet disclosed the government’s position.

After Denmark, which suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine, Norway is now moving towards permanent suspension; Johnson & Johnson’s serum is also being scrutinized. “If we decide to give up these vaccines permanently, however, they will not be lost. They are donated to other countries, ”said Hoie.

One wonders which countries will accept these discarded vaccines despite their dangerousness …
