British counter-terrorism police have confirmed they are treating four suspect packaged received by high-profile public buildings accross the United Kingdom are being treated as linked.
Three packages were found to have been delivered by the British Royal Mail postal service to locations accross London on Monday. A further parcel was discovered in Scotland on Sunday.
Those receiving “improvised explosive” parcels have been London’s Waterloo railway station, Heathrow Airport, City Airport, and Glasgow’s University.
The Glasgow parcel was destroyed by bomb disposal experts Wednesday after staff and students were evacuated from the area, the BBC reports.
