Climate change protesters are blocking Brisbane’s William Jolly Bridge in both directions, police say.
Activists gathered at the bridge in the city’s south this morning as part of a city wide protest.
More than 100 activists stepped out onto the bridge and sat on the road, blocking the traffic in both directions.
Activists chanted and held posters and waved flags as police watched on.
Extinction Rebellion organisers say they plan to remain there until 6pm today.Police are at the scene and diverting traffic.
