Polish police arrest 2 Dutch-Armenian men for assaulting Israeli students

Police in Warsaw have arrested two Dutch-Armenian nationals and are looking for an Arab man in connection with a violent assault carried out against Israeli students in the Polish capital.

Wednesday’s arrests followed reports that two Israeli students had been severely beaten by a group of no less than three men with Middle Eastern appearances because the alleged attackers heard the Israelis speaking Hebrew.

According to the Polish press, the third suspect is believed to be a citizen of either Belgium or the Netherlands.

One of the victims, Yotam Kashpizky, lost consciousness during the brutal attack and suffered a broken nose and eye socket, according to his brother.
