While tens of thousands of ‘Yellow vests’ protestors make an ever louder voice against the policies of Emmanuel Macrons’ government, the French president is in desperate need of change.
Last Saturday more than 80.000 French protestors took to the streets for the 9th week in a row, making Macrons need for change more urgent every week.
In a letter to the French public, president Macron stresses that he knows life is not easy and pleads for unity and time to save the country from falling apart: “In order for hope to overcome our fear, it is necessary and legitimate that we work on the great
problems of our time together.” With the aim to work on a ‘new social contract’ for ‘the nation’.
