Fines for breaching covid-19 public health directives in Greece totalled over half a million Euros in just one day.
On Saturday, authorities carried out 65,388 inspections.
€521,550 in fines and a 15-day “padlock” was imposed on two companies, while 1,773 violations were found.
Furthermore, two cafes were suspended for 15 days, one in Attica and the other in the Peloponnese, while at the same time fines of €5,000 and €3,000 were given to the owners of the businesses, respectively.
