The French authorities officially banned Generation Identity on Wednesday. The reason was “incitement of hatred towards people of different origins”, or in other words, so-called “hate speech”, which globalists and liberals use every time they want to silence their opponents. The dissolution of the movement was instigated by the French interior minister Gérald Darmanin, after the identitarians organized a symbolic action of defending the borders in the Pyrenes Mountains, where illegal migrants are regularly crossing into France.

Identitarians wanted to protest the decision in the center of Paris where they wanted to unfurl a banner, but the police stopped them. The French online media Boulevard Voltaire was present at the scene and took the statements of the identitarians.

The spokesperson of the movement Clément Martin explained that the banner said “We will not dissolve Generation Identity”, but that the police, without giving them any reason, prevented them from unfurling it. He also said that they will use every legal means possible against the dissolution.  Martin also warned that this is only the culmination of the oppression of the identitarian movements that have been going on for several years. He was also worried that the court may accept its decision not according to the law but may be influenced by political trends. In this case, Martin warns that we should be very worried.
