Coronavirus vaccination to be free and voluntary in one V4 state

The news was announced by the deputy minister of the Prime Minister’s Office on social media.

Vaccination against the coronavirus in Hungary will be free and voluntary, according to the deputy minister of the Prime Minister’s Office. “First, it will be administered to healthcare workers, chronic patients and elderly people,” Csaba Domotor wrote in his Facebook post.

In his interview to public radio last Friday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine may arrive in Hungary in late December or early January. Larger quantities of the vaccine meant for Europe may come in April. It will first be administered to the most vulnerable social groups, the premier stressed.
