The cancer fundraiser for sick children was interrupted by BLM activists, who found a way to steal the event with a protest and direct attention to themselves.

Chanting “black children matter,” BLM activists staged a demonstration in Wisconsin, interrupting a cancer charity fundraiser for sick children in Wisconsin.

Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc. or MACC Fund, sought to raise money for sick kids in Candy Cane Lane, a neighbourhood in West Allis, Wisconsin. According to their Twitter, they have accomplished their goal and managed to raise nearly €100,000 for sick children.

What prompted BLM activists to disrupt the fundraiser event is unclear, but they marched through the streets chanting and holding signs. Initially, they were chanting slogans like “the lives of black children matter,” which soon morphed into the popular “black lives matter” slogan.
