While the media is going crazy over the incident with Nika Kovač, no one thinks about the vandalism that befell the nearly discontinued Museum of Slovenian Independence!

Yesterday and today, the media is full of reactions to the incident in which the notorious non-government activist Nika Kovač is involved as a victim. Well, just a few days ago, the Minister of Culture Asta Vrečko announced the liquidation of the Museum of Slovenian Independence, thereby appeasing those who have been persecuting the museum and its management since its foundation. Which also left concrete and unpleasant consequences.

The director of the Museum of Slovenian Independence, Željko Oset, filed a complaint on Friday (September 23rd) in the evening due to a vandal attack on his home near Celje. Following that, he installed cameras, which early this morning at 4:34 a.m. detected a movement of a person around the house, on the part of the house where the damage to the façade was done in September, and from the side where the unknown perpetrator went during the visit in September.

As he announced, after the attack on his home, vandalism attacks also began to take place on the house in which the Museum of Slovenian Independence, which he manages, rents business premises. “The entrance door to the building was damaged three times, the back of the intercom was broken off, and finally the bin for organic waste was stolen. /…/ Harassment is becoming unbearable,” he announced.

And what is expected: the MSM media is not interested in this kind of vandalism, nor is the Ministry of Culture.
