Yesterday morning, employees at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, upon arriving at work, experienced an unpleasant surprise again. At night, left-wing extremists painted the windows and front door of the ministry with yellow swastikas.

Take a look at what the surveillance cameras recorded:

State Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office Jelka Godec wrote on Twitter: “#nocomment This is a consequence of your actions @strankalevica @StrankaLMS @StrankaSAB @strankaSd”.

The current team led by Minister of Culture Vasko Simoniti had to swallow many words at their own expense. They listen daily to unfounded manipulative attacks by the mainstream media, left wing opposition parties, and parts of civil society.

A small number of cultural workers with a lot of media support have already cooked up incidents in front of the entrance of the MC building several times. In the summer of last year, theatre actors Primož Bezjak and Katarina Stegnar staged a protest striptease. They also felt like it was a witty action when they set up school benches with the written surnames of the employees at MC and covered the benches with blood. The apartment house of the current Minister of Culture, Vasko Simoniti, has also been vandalised several times. The exterior of the building on MC was also repeatedly covered with different colours. Just remember the threats of the self-employed in culture Zlatan Čordič, because one of the employees at MC refused to extend his status.

The strange thing is that the cameras should have caught all the perpetrators a long time ago. As in previous actions, the exterior of the building was destroyed this time as well. According to the picture, where a yellow swastika is drawn on each window, the creators of the campaign had to take some time for their “artistic” creations.

The incident was also reported to the police. Police officers conducted an investigation of the place and are continuing to collect notices on suspicion of the crime of damaging a foreign object, in which damage of about 500 euros was caused. According to the police, the perpetrator is not yet known, and all findings will be notified to the competent state prosecutor’s office.

However, the Ministry of Culture wrote in a response on Twitter that such an act of vandalism is another type of attack on the Ministry and its employees, which follow each other from week to week.

As they explained, there were five perpetrators, and they also announced that Minister Vasko Simoniti would make a statement about the event today. At the same time, they posted several videos of the night action of the vandals on the social network twitter.

A similar case occurred in December last year when strangers smeared the front of the Ministry with black stains. The Ministry then posted several photos and wrote on Twitter that at night, strangers caused thousands of euros in damage to taxpayers by completely destroying the façade.

Well, let us add that it is obvious that left wing extremists and idlers do not tolerate that the Ministry of Culture is headed by Dr Vasko Simoniti, who as an intellectual knows the culture and is ready to bluntly tell them what is going on. After all, that was the case at the last session of the Committee of Culture in the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia.
