The opposition LMŠ, SD, Levica, and SAB failed to gather enough votes in support of the interpellation of the Minister of Education, Science, and Sport Simona Kustec in the National Assembly. 38 MPs voted in favour of the interpellation and 41 against. In order for the interpellation to succeed, it would have to be supported by at least 46 MPs.
After the defeat in the no-confidence vote against the Government, the left wing opposition suffered another blow, namely they failed to gather enough votes for the interpellation of Minister of Education, Science, and Sport Simona Kustec. This time, KUL is two votes smaller, with 38 opposition MPs voting for the no confidence. The interpellation against the Minister of Labour, Family, Social Affairs, and Equal Opportunities, Janez Cigler Kralj, which is announced for Thursday, promises a similar result.
