Šarec’s chief adviser Damir Črnčec recently described Štrukelj’s SVIZ as more jihadist than Islamic State terrorists

By: Ivan Šokić (Nova24tv)

A few months before the formation of Marjan Šarec’s government, his current shadow, and during Šarec’s government, his state secretary Damir Črnčec compared ISIS and SVIZ on Twitter. Črnčec found the Union of Education, Science and Culture of Slovenia even more jihadist than the terrorists of the Islamic State. These days, Šarec’s in LMŠ and SVIZ are as thick as thieves.

The link between the Marjan Šarec List and the Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture of Slovenia may seem like a monolith these days when the government is being harassed. But not long ago, certain prominent associates of former Prime Minister Marjan Šarec had a worse opinion of SVIZ.

Thus, the current Šarec’s shadow, LMŠ consultant Damir Črnčec wrote on Twitter on March 14th, 2018 that comparing the Union with a terrorist organisation is “quite offensive to ISIS.”

From jihadist organisation to allies

But Črnčec did not stop here. As he claimed, extreme jihadism is common to both ISIS and SVIZ. “ISIS does this for belief. SVIZ and the failed politician Štrukelj, on the shoulders of our children, for money.” The question is what has changed so much in the last three years that the LMŠ is ready to cooperate with the trade union, which, according to Šarec’s shadow, is a worse extremist than the Islamic terrorist organisation. Questions related to this were addressed to the Secretary General of SVIZ Branimir Štrukelj as well as to the LMŠ party. We are still waiting for answers.
