“Because Mr. Stevanović did not respond to the letter from the Municipality of Kranj nor did he return the requested funds, we prepared and filed a lawsuit against him on September 1st, 2021, demanding the return of funds together with default interest from the day the benefit was received,” said the Municipality of Kranj. Regarding the furniture, which the city councillor Zoran Stevanović supposedly appropriated, they wrote that the inventory will be carried out during the inventory of fixed assets for 2021 – only then will they be able to confirm whether something is missing. Meanwhile, Stevanović is inviting to another anti-vaccination protest, with the help of his friend Anis Ličina – for whom it is currently not entirely clear whether he is in Slovenia.

A few days ago, we wrote that the Kranj City Councillor Zoran Stevanović is allegedly being sued by the Municipality of Kranj (MOK), because he misappropriated more than two thousand euros for his legal fees from public money. The municipality first called on the councillor to return the money, but there was no response. Namely, Stevanović used the funds from the budget item for councillor groups. We asked the MOK to confirm the information and received a reply today that the MOK, based on the request of the Zoran for Kranj Councillors’ Group and the provision of Article 7 of the Rules on Funds for the Work of Councillor Groups of the Municipality of Kranj (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 18/04 ) issued an order to a lawyer at the end of October 2020 for the legal protection of the political expression of the city councillor during the performance of the function of councillor and at the beginning of December 2020 also paid for legal services in the amount of more than 2 thousand euros. Subsequently, after receiving the additional specification of legal services, the MOK established that the legal services were provided for representation in three court disputes or Stevanović’s personal cases and not for representation or legal advice to the councillor group. “Because Mr. Stevanović did not respond to the letter from the MOK nor did he return the requested funds, we prepared and filed a lawsuit against him on September 1st, 2021, demanding the return of the funds together with default interest from the day the benefit was received.”

“Let’s get together so we can get up. There is always only one truth. It comes from this video. Take a quick look and share while the video is here. Everyone in front of the parliament on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Let’s teach them to count over 100,000. Power and freedom to the people,” Stevanović said on Facebook. In the video, he said, among other things, that he was not convicted and that he was not in criminal proceedings. In addition, he said he was never fired from any job. He stressed that he would never get vaccinated, although some claim he has already been. “Abolishing all binding measures would bring freedom to the people,” he said revolutionary, as if the measures were not here to protect us from the virus. He also invited Anis Ličina to the protest on Wednesday, who wrote on Facebook that this was not a call for elections or violence, nor was it anti-vaccination propaganda – he had been vaccinated himself. However, this is a call “to wake up, to show disagreement with the restriction of freedom, to disagree with the violation of constitutional rights and the violation of the law”

Ličina also called on the protesters to film the police and other people present, as well as provocations. According to him, there will certainly be some undercover agent who will provoke an incident at the request of the SDS party. Of course, we do not have to say it twice that Ličina would not send someone on his own –to confirm his own prophetic words. “Connect and do not let the people you pay take away the freedom that every person in this world has a right to,” he urged. Whether he will also appear at the protests is not entirely clear at this time. Namely, we reported that Ličina allegedly avoided the hand of justice, but he himself says that he only went on a trip – so according to this scenario, there are no obstacles for his participation. Let’s just hope that this time the protest will not be violent, last time the police had to use a water cannon and a tear gas canister – but it could have ended even worse.
